South Sioux City History
South Sioux City is a growing and prospering community. South Sioux City is the largest town in Dakota County. Its population is just under 12,000 residents, and has many traditional small-town values that are common in Nebraska. Its close proximity to the larger city, Sioux City, allows residents and visitors alike, all the amenties of a metroploitan area, while boasting the friendliness of a small town. South Sioux City is accessible from the north and south via I-29, exit 148, and east and west via US Highway 20, exit 2.
